The morning was quite humid, with heavy overnight rains, so not the best morning. But, outdoors under the park shelter, with a little breeze, the group (except for Jim Bisbee who needed to go to work at Allen Hospital) were in the park for three hours!

Mary Cole and her husband drive for over two hours just to enjoy a cup of coffee with former high school classmates. Kay McInroy, again this year, is a "heat-bird" for perhaps four months, avoiding extreme summber heat in Palm Desert, California.
